Declan joined LCP in 2004 and has over 20 years experience in the insurance industry, mainly in non-life insurance. He qualified as an actuary in 1998 and is an active member of the Society of Actuaries in Ireland's Solvency II sub-committee.
Declan specialises in non-life insurance with experience in reserving, pricing, financial modelling and business intelligence. He holds a non-life signing certificate and is also an appointed actuary for creditor insurance life risks.
Declan has also advised outside the traditional actuarial fields, in particular in the valuation of employee share option schemes.
When not at his desk, Declan's two young daughters keep him as busy as possible!
