Sinéad Lane

I qualified as an actuary in 2001 and joined LCP’s Irish Insurance consulting team in 2018. My experience spans over 15 years in both in-house and consulting roles. Prior to joining LCP I worked within the domestic Irish market in various roles across both reserving and pricing teams. 

My current role largely involves providing support in the provision of  Head of Actuarial Function services. I calculate quarterly reserves for reporting purposes and Solvency II Technical Provisions within tight time constraints. I prepare ARTPs and the Actuarial Opinions on Underwriting, Reinsurance and the ORSA processes. I also provide support to clients in reviewing capital and standard formula calculations.

From time to time I have prepared ad hoc analyses for clients to support in house decisions on pricing and underwriting issues.
